RedBox Promo Code for September 15th

Okay, so I don't know if anyone actually takes advantage of my random weekly RedBox messages, Eric said something along the lines of 'what's a RedBox?' a while ago, so allow me to explain a little better what these promo codes are and why I keep posting about them… So, every Monday I’ve been posting a goofy looking 6 digit ‘promo code’ and telling everyone to go get a free movie rental, but seeing as how I haven’t gotten any sort of confirmation that anyone is taking me up on my offer, here’s the deal. The official answer given by the company to Eric’s question is as follows:

Redbox (full name: redbox automated retail LLC--sorta like Throckmorton Automated Monkeyshins III) is the leading renter of DVDs through automated kiosks in the known universe. Redbox continues to revolutionize, scandalize and reorganize the DVD rental industry as it expands its red footprint inside McDonald's restaurants and grocery stores such as Smith's Food & Drug Stores, Giant and Stop & Shop. Don't be surprised if redbox shows up in other locations, either.

So, basically it is an automated DVD rental machine that allows you to rent a movie for a night for $1.00, with each additional day you keep it costing another dollar. To take advantage of the codes I keep posting all you have to do is go to any Redbox, there is one outside of the McDonalds on the NW corner of campus or you can go online to their website Redbox.com to find a more convenient location, and browse through the movie selection, add the one you want to your ‘shopping cart’ and then before checking out press the ‘Enter Promo Code’ button on the bottom row of the touch-screen. You have to swipe a credit/debit card to set up your account and so that they can charge you if you decide that you can’t bear to return the new Brad Pitt flick. You have to rent the movie by midnight the day, Monday, that I post the code and return it by 9:00 PM the following day, Tuesday, to get the free rental.

Now that I’ve gotten that outta the way, here is the Promo Code for today, Tuesday September 15th: 2THS48. Feel free to e-mail me Michael.Whitfield@Drake.edu or Lanthimus2@Yahoo.com if you have any questions.
